... was established in 1983 by Wolfgang A. Runge as a Berlin-based company offering consulting and distribution services in the field of electronic components. In the first years ETB electronic initially acted as a dealer and developed into a distributor specialising in technically sophisticated electro-mechanical products.

At a later stage, our customers began to ask for pre-assembled cables in addition to the distribution service. As a result of this desire, our new Berlin-based cable harnessing facility began to operate in 1986 and developed into one of the main pillars of the company in the following years.

It was a short way from a general passion for electrical engineering to electronics. Thus, in the year 1990 our electronics production came into being, including printed circuit board mounting, assembly manufacture and device installation. The challenge to get more quickly from an idea to a series product meant a further step in a new direction – development and construction. Our development department was built up in 2003. It is responsible for the design of hardware and software as well as the mechanical construction of your product.

Quality and service are pivotal in our daily work. The certification of the German technical inspection association (TÜV) according to the standards ISO 9001 and ISO TS 16949 confirms our excellent work – as well as other organisations and a great number of customer audits do.
